Travelogue Korea : Igidae Park and Sky Walk in Busan

Petang lepas check in dekat Mr.Egg Hostel, terus bergerak ke Igidae Park...Dah la puas melantak fast food dekat Lotteria, lepas tu boleh pulak pergi hiking kan...hahahaha...sumpah penat...mula-mula tu bebel jugak la...tapi lepas jumpa laut terus diam...
When the Japanese invaded Joseon in the late 16th century,
they conquered Suyeongseong Fortress and held a feast
to celebrate their victory at a high, open spot that
commanded pleasant scenery. Two Korean gisaeng
(female professional entertainers) were taken to the feast.
They seized a drunken Japanese commander
and jumped into the sea as a reprisal against the Japanese invasion of their homeland.
Thus, the name Igidae, which means two gisaeng, was given to this place.

Sumpah cakap..penat...hahahaha...sebabnya lepas makan, minum minuman bergas pulak, tanpa stretching...terus berjalan sejauh 5.2km which is jalan dia bukan macam jalan kat shopping mall ye kakak-kakak semua...jalan dia mmg sangat menderitakan jiwa dan raga..hahahaha

Tapi tu semua pada Sally la...dia sebenarnya just an easy going path je...jalan dia mmg well made and kalau ada pun just tangga dan jugak beberapa kawasan yang sangat berbatu...mohon pakai kasut yang sesuai...jangan pakai selipar pulak tau...

Igidae Park ni mmg sangat cantik...sepanjang path yang sejauh 5.2 km tu...kita boleh tengok keseluruhan Busan dan yang penting cantiknya laut! Ya Allah! masa kat sini mmg hampir nak menangis, rasa bersyukur sangat sebab Allah memberi peluang utk Sally sampai kesini walaupun lepas balik terus makan pasir sebab dah overspend...kekeke...but no one can ever buy an experience..and I've got mine there! Alhamdulillah!

and we've meet with this two lovely Korean...nasib baik la reti cakap English...kalau tak mau sedu tau...We talk a lot about Korean and Busan especially and It was a great moment to be captured! :)

Heading to Igidae!
Directions courtesy of cityawesome.com:
(Copying the directions from the site, as we took a bus – and I forgot the bus numbers as we were with our host), there are two routes that you can utilize:

1) A LONGER WALK TO IGIDAE: From Namcheon metro, get off at exit 3 and take your first left. Walk down till the road dead-ends, turn right, and then turn left onto the busy road. Continue past the big intersection at Mega Mart, and continue for a while till you get to Igidae.

2) BY BUS; SHORTER WALK: From the Kyungsung subway, get out exit 5, do an about-face, and go around the corner. Walk straight one and a half blocks (you’ll pass a Paris Baguette) till you get to the bus stop. Take any bus EXCEPT the 10 and 155 (so YES for the ones in the 20s (24, 27, etc) and also the 131). You’ll go about 5 stops to the IGIDAE stop. The bus will turn right just before you need to get off. You’ll be able to see a big mountain.

Get off the bus, backtrack a lil, and cross the street (you’ll be walking towards an eyeglasses shop with a blue sign). Follow that road till it keeps winding around to the park. It’s a 5-10 minute walk just to get to the park, so keep at it. (-cityawesome.com)
